EMPOWERING ACCESS TO EDUCATION, NO MATTER THE CIRCUMSTANCE |
How we work
Charitable education support for all students.
No volunteers or donations needed.
-
We offer free online tutoring options to disadvantaged students acrooss NSW. So anyone, no matter where they are, they can get the support they need.
-
We hire university students and pay them well above market rate - for all of their time, not just paying clients.
Empowering the next generation to support their communities and succeed in their studies without donating their time for free.
-
We’re all about innovation.
Building new options to keep you engaged with school, prevent frustration before it sets in, and make sure help is there, whenever you need it.
Designed to help us scale in size, and therefore our impact, to help us support more disadvantaged students in building futures they can’t wait to chase.
-
We distribute any surplus profits to our foundation, funding university access scholarships to directly support the most disadvantaged of students.
This allows grants, donations, and sponsorships to help support our mission of empowering access to education, no matter the circumstance.

EDUCATION IS A PAY TO WIN SYSTEM, AND THAT’S A PROBLEM
ACADEMIC SUPPORT IS REALLY (REALLY) EXPENSIVE. BUT ALMOST EVERY TOP SCORING HSC STUDENT HAS AT LEAST ONE PRIVATE TUTOR, MAKING IT ALMOST A NECESSITY TO KEEP UP.
AND IF YOU CAN’T AFFORD SUPPORT, YOU’RE STUCK GOOGLING OR ASKING CHATGPT, GETTING ANSWERS THAT JUST MAKE EVERYTHING HARDER TO UNDERSTAND.
IT’S A PROBLEM THAT ISN’T HELPED BY JUST WORKING HARDER
THE PAY TO WIN ISSUE DOESN’T END AT UNIVERSITY.WHILE SOME STUDENTS MAY AFFORD RENT WITH OUT A WORRY, OTHERS ARE STUCK WORKING 30-HOUR WEEKS JUST TRYING TO GET BY.
THE CHOICE BETWEEN GRADES AND GROCERIES, INTERSHIPS AND INTERNET COSTS IS CONSTANT; LEAVING LITTLE TIME OUTSIDE OF WORK AND STUDY TO BUILD A CAREER, MEANING LESS OPPORTUNITY WHEN THE DEGREE IS DONE.
founder story
Cait Thurn
When I moved to Sydney for uni in 2023, everything I had planned to financially support myself whilst doing my second degree fell apart. Spectacularly, in a week.
I figured I should probably do something about it.
And in building a way to support myself through uni, I realised that a lot of other students were in the same boat. And that if I could fix it for me, I may as well give it a red hot crack fixing it for as many of them as possible too.
The values that define who we are, and how we aim to be
-
No matter where you’re from, when you’re with us, you get the same experience.
The experience of empowerment in education and support in your own goals.
-
With each other, with you, with ourselves.
It’s the only way to a truly equitable solution. If we can't be honest about what works - and what doesn't - then we can't hope to fix it properly. -
Passion - for the work, for the world, for the future.
So we bring that passion to all that we do - to you, our company, and our future. -
We want to find creative ways to solve education inequity problems - today. Not ten years from today.
So we work - and work fast - to find more effective ways of addressing this problem; doing away with the traditional approach of charities to one that prioritises growth of impact.
-
Nothing gets done alone - at least for not very long. So we aim to support and encourage those around us to achieve their excellence.
